During normal operation, when added to engine oil, the nano flakes in TriboTEX attach to metal surfaces (sticky side down), particle by particle, leaving the slick sides facing outward. After 500 miles of driving (don’t worry it does not have to be all at once) a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating is formed that reverses wear and repairs bearings. The coating is smart and only forms on metal bearing surfaces. It’s like ceramic protective coatings used in some of high-performance engines, but it reduces friction 10X BETTER than engine oil alone. This product is compatible with all types of motor oil both conventional and synthetic and can be used in gas or diesel engines. TriboTEX treats all vehicles i.e. Ford F150, Toyota Camry, BMW 3 series, Dodge pickups and Chevy V8s. For motorcycles, lawn mowers and other small equipment use our small engine treatment. For engines that hold more than 8 quarts/Liters of oil, such as large diesel pickup trucks and some high performance sports cars, please use our diesel treatment. The diesel treatment is a more powerful dose for bigger engines.
